Ramos made his mark in 2005 starting a managing company, Rick Ramos Management. Working with the likes of: Jimmy Sandoval (15-3 12ko's)...and also known for being part of the financial community. Rick, one of ONLY 3 Latino traders/brokers in the business, accidentally finds himself to be a "role model."
The stock of Rick Ramos himself would rise when he convinced the Chicago Board of Options Exchange to let 2 time World Champion Fernando Vargas and World Champion David Diaz, to ring the "opening bell." This becoming the FIRST and SECOND time celebrity athletes coming from a Latin background to do so!
Rick Ramos is VERY involved with boxing in his home town, assistant coaching at his old high school De La Salle (along with good friend Tony Maldonado).
